| Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Abdul Samad bin Haji Alias is the Chairman of PIDM. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Tan Sri Abdul Samad has had extensive experience in auditing and accounting. He is also the Chairman of Malaysia Venture Capital Management Bhd and Malaysia Debt Venture Bhd, and was recently appointed as an independent non-executive Director of Bursa Malaysia. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. In 2006 Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Abdul Samad received global recognition through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ Award for Achievement in Asia. |
