Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (“PIDM”) would like to caution members of the public about letters purporting to be from PIDM, to deceive members of the public into transferring money out of their accounts for the purposes of payment of fees for deposit insurance to PIDM.
Please note that there are no fees chargeable to the public or any depositors for deposit insurance. The deposit insurance protection is provided by law and is automatic.
If you have received such a letter, you may lodge a complaint with Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia.
