PIDM's Board of Directors is responsible for the conduct of the business and affairs of PIDM and make regulations in respect of deposit insurance. Specific authority will be given to intervene when a member institution’s viability is in doubt or to resolve member institutions that have ceased to be viable to ensure the protection of Malaysian depositors.
