Accommodation at Lanai Kijang

Single occupancy rooms (non-smoking) have been reserved for participants at the rate of
RM 145 nett per night. This rate includes breakfast and all applicable taxes. Lanai Kijang is Bank Negara Malaysia’s purpose built and newly launched residential and recreational complex for course participants (For more information on LANAI KIJANG please refer to the Attachment below).

About Lanai Kijang
Lanai Kijang is Bank Negara Malaysia’s purpose-built and newly launched residential and recreational complex for course participants. It provides a conducive environment for participants to learn, network and share knowledge in a natural and informal setting. The entire Lanai Kijang building is wi-fi enabled.



Surrounded by a green and vibrant environment, Lanai Kijang is located at Perkarangan Tun Ismail and sits on 4.6 acres and has a built-up area of nearly 300,000 square feet. The complex is approximately 15 minutes drive from the city centre where tourist attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower are located. Lanai Kijang is also located within 15 minutes walking distance from the nearest shopping district and the LRT. The light rail transport system or LRT is a very popular mode of public transportation in Kuala Lumpur and the nearest station is the Bandaraya LRT Station. Alternately, taxi services are readily available.

Getting There

Lanai Kijang is approximately 2 kilometres from Bank Negara Malaysia headquarters or 62 kilometres (an hour drive) from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

From KLIA

Pre-arranged Return Airport Transfer
Lanai Kijang is a relatively new property and hence many taxi drivers are not familiar with its location. To avoid any difficulties or discomfort to participants, we have arranged for return airport transfer service with a travel agent at a special corporate rate. The cost of this service is RM 300 nett (a car with a maximum of 2 passengers). The cost of this service is to be borne by participant.

The travel agent will receive the participant at the arrival hall of the airport and at the lobby of Lanai Kijang on the departure date. The cost difference between the airport budget taxi and this service is approximately RM100.

Only cash payment is accepted. All cash payments are to be made to Ms. Sejal Mehta of the Secretariat team and a receipt from the travel agent will be issued to the participant.  Please indicate in your Logistics Form if you wish to book this service.

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport
By taxi

Taxis (premier and budget), limousines and vans are available from the various counters at the KLIA arrival halls. Coupons for taxis can be purchased from these counters.

By train

KLIA Ekspres offers a non-stop journey between KL Sentral and KLIA. Fares are RM35.00 for a one-way journey and the non-stop journey only takes 28 minutes.
From the KL Sentral station, you can take a taxi (5 kilometres or 10 minute drive) or opt to take the train services.
The closest train stations are the Bank Negara station (KTM Komuter) or the Bandaraya station (LRT – Ampang Line). From the station, it is another 20 minute walk to Lanai Kijang.
