Executive Management Committee

PIDM's Executive Management Committee (EMC) is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer who is not a member of the Board of Directors. The EMC is a forum for the discussion of issues relating to the management and day-to-day operations of PIDM. Its members comprise the Executive General Managers and Heads of Division who are also responsible for supporting the Board of Directors in fulfilling its governance responsibilities.

The EMC is intended to facilitate effective communications, teamwork, adaptability to change and collaboration throughout all areas of PIDM, as well as serve as a conduit of information to all employees.

Rafiz Azuan Abdullah
Chief Executive Officer

Rafiz Azuan Abdullah was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 28 August 2017. He joined PIDM in 2007 and led the Insurance, Risk Assessment and Monitoring Division where he spearheaded the completion of the Risk Assessment System for PIDM.

Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel

Lim Yam Poh was appointed as Chief Operating Officer on 28 August 2017. Previously, she had oversight over the Finance and Administration Division, Human Capital Division, Legal Division, and Strategic Planning Division as Executive General Manager and General Counsel.

Lee Yee Ming is responsible for the integration and implementation of the end-to-end spectrum of risk assessment and monitoring, early intervention, resolution planning, resolution execution.

Lim Lee Na provides secretariat services to the Board and the Board Committees. She also supports the Board in the development and maintenance of good governance practices through research and advice.

Wan Ahmad Ikram Wan Ahmad Lotfi is accountable for the overall financial management and office administration of PIDM.

Zufar Suleiman Abu Bakar is responsible for the implementation of PIDM’s Enterprise Risk Management framework and assists the Board, Audit Committee and Management.

Afiza Abdullah is responsible for PIDM’s key policy areas and international relations. Her main responsibilities are to assess, develop and propose policies that concern the mandate and operations of PIDM.

Chua Ee Leen is responsible for the implementation of PIDM’s strategic planning process and assists the Board and Management in setting the direction as well as the development of strategic and financial plans.
