Resolution Planning in Malaysia

Through Resolution Planning, PIDM is working to ensure that member banks are resolvable and that potential impact to the financial system are minimised in the event of a failure.

PIDM is pleased to announce additional relief measures for MIs in respect of certain obligations under PIDM’s regulations and guidelines for assessment year 2021. The additional relief measures for 2021 are in respect of the extension of deadlines for certain regulatory submissions for a period of two (2) months. More information is available on the additional relief measures for 2021 as well as information on the relief measures announced in June and July 2020 that are still applicable for 2021.
