Skills, Experience and Expertise:
Lim Tai Ching is responsible for the provision of a
range of legal services, including the maintenance
and development of relevant legislation to ensure
that they remain relevant to enable PIDM to
effectively fulfil its mandate, and ensuring compliance
with all applicable statutory requirements. She
chaired the Corporate Social Responsibility
Committee, from 2011 to 2017, leading initiatives
that are focussed on community development,
environmental conservation and sustainability for
PIDM. She joined PIDM in 2010 as a Legal Advisor.
She commenced her legal career at Messrs Shook
Lin & Bok. After leaving legal practice, she joined
the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees,
supporting its operations in the Malaysia and
Tai Ching was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2002.
