Skills, Experience and Expertise:Lim Lee Na provides secretariat services to the Board and the Board Committees. She also supports the Board in the development and maintenance of good governance practices through research and advice. Lee Na joined PIDM in 2007 as Senior Legal Advisor and has led the development of the Product Registry System to automate the process of reviewing and rating the insurability status of deposit products offered by member banks as well as PIDM’s programme for monitoring member institutions’ compliance with PIDM’s regulations.
She has over 20 years of combined experience mainly in the banking industry and legal practice, having worked with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Malaysia Berhad, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Southern Bank Berhad, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad and Messrs Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong. She has also been a legal editor with Reed Elsevier.
Lee Na was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1991. She is a Chartered Secretary and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
