The Muzakarah aims to enhance understanding of failure resolution among Shariah practitioners while addressing challenges in ensuring the orderly resolution of Islamic banks. It facilitates thoughtful exchange and collaboration on issues, recommendations, and Shariah-compliant mechanisms for the transfer of Islamic banks’ assets, liabilities, and business, with the objective of strengthening resolution frameworks that are aligned with Shariah principles.
