The Muzakarah on Failure Resolution of Islamic Financial Institutions is an intellectual discourse that serves as a platform for members of the Islamic banking industry’s Shariah fraternity to discuss and deliberate on the development of Shariah-compliant resolution approaches. The Muzakarah aims to enhance understanding of failure resolution among Shariah practitioners while addressing challenges in ensuring the orderly resolution of Islamic banks. It facilitates thoughtful exchange and collaboration on issues, recommendations, and Shariah-compliant mechanisms for the transfer of Islamic banks’ assets, liabilities, and business, with the objective of strengthening resolution frameworks that are aligned with Shariah principles.

In Crisis, Your Decisions Shape the Outcome

Every minute counts. Every choice matters. Step into the shoes of key decision-makers in a crisis.

Make tough calls with too little time, too little information and no certainty, just like in a real crisis.

Every decision has consequences. Will your institution’s mandate align with what’s best for financial stability? If not, how will you navigate the trade-offs?

Watch as your choices ripple across stakeholders or even decide the fate of a nation’s financial system. In a crisis, there are no perfect answers, only high-stakes decisions under pressure.

Register and join us for an immersive hands-on experience at our Simulation Lab booth during the event.
